26th Perthshire (Dunning) Scout Group

Dunning Scouts are an active and vibrant group promoting the development of young people in achieving their full potential, as individuals, responsible citizens, and members of the community.  With Beavers, Cubs and Scouts sections, and an Explorers Unit, they meet weekly on an evening during school term, and aim to hold either an overnight residential event or special trip each term. For young people age 6-17 and welcome adult volunteers.

Aberuthven and Dunning Parish Church

Church of Scotland Parish Church serving the Communities of Aberuthven and Dunning in Perthshire.

Both Aberuthven and Dunning Churches are open for worship on Sundays at 11am:

  • Aberuthven on the first, third and fifth Sunday of the month 
  • Dunning every week except on the fifth Sunday of the month

Crafty Ladies

Every Thursday from 1.30pm to 3.30pm. Emerging from the Community Council's Warm Spaces initiative, this group of local ladies of all ages meet together each week, to chat, and learn new skills such as knitting, crochet, and craft work of every description.  Ladies are invited to come along and learn new skills or pass on exisiting skills and meet like-minded folks. Beginners welcome.

Dunning Community Trust

Dunning Community Trust is a Scottish Charity that has purchased and manages Kincladie Wood, an ancient wood on the edge of the village of Dunning. Members take part in helping to shape and improve the wood and its surroundings for future generations, providing opportunities to see at first hand management of woodland, environmental protection, conservation, rehabilitation and understanding of woodland and its flora and fauna.

Dunning Primary School Parents' Council

The Parent Council is a group that is selected to work on behalf of all parents on educational matters that are important to all. They support the School in its work with pupils; represent the views of all parents and carers; and encourage links between the school, parents, carers, pupils, and the wider community. 

Little Dunning

Little Dunning is a community organisation that organises a village market held annually in the Rollo Park, Dunning, usually on the first Saturday in June.
